Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

Classes will be held outside of the Riptide Cafe on Plum Island. Students will work at picnic tables, with umbrellas for sun protection. The restaurant will be closed to the public at the time of class.

What does my child need to bring?

All supplies are provided for each student. Cold water will be provided for students to drink. We recommend applying sunscreen before coming to class, as we will be working outdoors.

What if it rains?

In the event of rain or extreme heat, classes will be held inside the Riptide Cafe. Again, the restaurant will be closed to the public at the time of classes.

Where do I drop off/pick up my child?

Riptide Cafe has a parking lot directly across the street. Drop off time is 8:00 am and pick up is at 11:30 am.

Can I contact my child during class?

Absolutely! Call or text anytime during class. We will accommodate any communication needs.

Are there bathrooms available?

Yes. Students will have access to two bathrooms during class time. The restaurant will be closed to the public at the time of class.

What will my child bring home?

Students will bring home works on canvas and paper, crafts, and sculptures. Each student will receive a t-shirt, hand printed each Monday.
